PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT

Course:       Writing Effective Letters, Reports and Emails
Duration:       2 Days
Facilitators:       -
Role-play Actors:       -

The written word has always been a vital form of communication between departments and customers alike. Now with the wide use of email it is becoming even more important that we are able to use this form of communication effectively. Teams need to understand the difference between writing letters and emails that will be understood and ones that won’t. We will train delegates to be more creative and structure a letter for maximum impact. Delegates will be shown the more informal style adopted by users of email and how effective and convenient this medium can be for communicating around departments etc. Report writing uses similar skills, as most reports have to be persuasive. We will give delegates tips on researching, organising information and how to formulate and lay out a report. There will be lots of opportunity to practise writing letters, reports and emails during these very interactive two days.
